Aberaeron Stud occasionally have horses for sale. We only sell Welsh cobs with kind temperaments, good conformation & length of rein, bold eyes & good feet. Trainability is an essential factor.
Most of stock has Pentre Eiddwen Comet, Nebo Black Magic, Brenin Dafydd, and/or Parc Welsh Flyer blood pumping through their veins. More recently, our stock have strong Derwen bloodlines, including one of our favourite stallions Derwen Railway Express. These are essential elements to our idea of perfect Welsh cobs.

• We also occasionally have Welsh Part-Breds / Sport horses / coloured horses for sale. As with the cobs the aim to is to produce performance horses, with the emphasis on temperament, showing & eventing.
• Stage payments can be arranged.
• Foals can be bought 'in the uterus' or pre-booked.
• This site is constantly evolving, with youngstock coming through, check regularly for new developments about Welsh cobs.

For Sale: Welsh Part-Bred Foal / Welsh Sport Horse Born on April 25, 2008 Aberaeron Black Bess gave birth to this super colt. His sire is the coloured hunter/sport horse RJT Gwndwn Tonto (graded with CHAPS), he's 3/4 thoroughbred. This colt can be registered as a Welsh Part Bred with WPCS or Sport Horse Breeding UK (not full stud book) or CHAPS. He's expected to make at least 15.2hh. We'd love to keep this lad, but already have his full brother Aberaeron Papoose, so have reluctantly decided to let him go. Papoose is now 3 yrs old & stands at 15.2hh.
